Architectural Overview

Transparent Hands is a healthcare-crowdfunding platform in Pakistan, built to deliver free surgical and medical care to underprivileged patients while giving donors complete visibility into where every contribution goes. The platform connects international donors directly with verified patients and partner private hospitals, letting donors browse individual patient cases by surgery type, donate securely, and follow each patient's journey to recovery. Its core differentiator is a strict 100% transparency model: after treatment, all hospital bills and medical reports are uploaded so donors can see exactly what their funds paid for. A per-donor dashboard delivers ongoing updates, while dedicated iOS and Android apps, Zakat-eligible patient tagging, and a built-in Zakat calculator make giving accessible from anywhere. Beyond online campaigns, the platform also coordinates free medical camps across the country, having served tens of thousands of patients since 2014.
